sisters

Before Dahlia was born Laila wasn't to excited about not being the baby of the family anymore.  However, after Dahlia was born she loved Dahlia from the moment she first meet her, and was more than happy to be a big sister.  Unfortunately Dahlia was only home for two weeks, before she became sick and had to go to the hospital.  Laila was only able to see her baby sister a handful of times, the five months Dahlia was in the hospital.  Laila was so excited when we finally got to bring Dahlia home; she will sing to her, give her lots of hugs and kisses and help her play with toys.  Sometimes it makes me cringe when I see the kids giving our immunosuppressed baby lots of slobery kisses and I want to tell them to stay away, but sometimes love is the best medicine.
