kindergarten graduation

The school year has flown by and as of Friday, Laila is now a kindergarten graduate!  Her school has the cutest kindergarten graduation ceremony.  All of the children follow their teacher in a procession around the gym.  Once they are seated, they sing two songs and then each student gets their name called and receives a diploma from the principal.  Laila was so excited for her graduation ceremony, but was sad she wasn't going to be in her teacher's class anymore.  She loved her kindergarten teacher!

mother's day

I'm usually the one behind the camera taking all the pictures, so today after church I had Brian take some pictures of me and the kids.  I really need to take more pictures with them!  I had a great mother's day. The kids made me some cute homemade gifts and Brian did a wonderful job of spoiling me.  I'm so lucky I get to be a mother to these kids.

Dahlia loves playing outside.  She likes being on the trampoline with her sisters.  However, Dahlia doesn't like for them to jump, rather to sit and play with her.  We have been trying to spend lots of time outside, because the hot Texas weather is just around the corner.
