Last week we went on a relaxing vacation to the lake. We rented several cabins with Brian's family at a state park in Louisiana. The cabins were huge and so nice with beautiful views of the lake. The kids were looking forward to this trip for a while and had fun fishing, hiking, swimming and playing with cousins. The adults had fun staying up late and playing lots of games. After going on two vacations in a row it was hard to get back to everyday life!

what lake is that? the cabins look nice! i found out the cabins on the frio river are $300 a night, with a 3 night minimum, so we may end up camping in tent when it gets a little cooler in october.
p.s. i love that photo of ava in the lake. so cute.
the cabins are in South Toledo Bend State Park the lake is also called Toledo Bend. It is only about an hour and half from here, and the cabins only cost $13o per night. I was thinking it would be fun to get together and rent one for a day or two. Before school starts.
Those Cabins look really nice. We'll have to try going there sometime. That would be fun to go there before school starts -- the price is real reasonable. The kids look like they had a great time. Great job in catching that fish Dario!
