This past week our kids had spring break and we took them camping on Friday and Saturday. Between keeping the boys from hooking each other with their fishing pools, keeping Ava away from the steep drop off into the lake, and keeping Laila out of the campfire, it was not the most relaxing trip for Brian and me. However, the kids had lots of fun, so the trip was well worth it. During the night it got so cold. I could hear little critters scampering around the campsite and at one point they even started scratching at the tent. Next time we go camping, I think we'll rent a cabin instead of staying in a tent!

glad you had a good time! we are still bummed we couldn't make it. i thought of you guys when we wathed the news friday night and saw that the low temps for the night were in the 40's! you must have been freezing! we need to do cabins on the frio river this summer when dan has some time off work!
looks like fun. except for the cold, that's too bad.
This makes me want to go camping!
